PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE
www.trainsquare.ae is a site operated by Trainsquare LLC. We are registered as a free zone limited liability company in Sharjah Media City (Shams), United Arab Emirates. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and Trainsquare LLC that governs your right to use the website, application, and other offerings from Trainsquare LLC. When used in these Terms, “Trainsquare,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Trainsquare LLC. If you do not accept these terms, you should refrain from using our site. It is recommended that you keep a printed copy of these Terms for future reference.
Trainsquare offers an e-marketplace that enables users to publish, browse, book and pay for in-person, hands-on group workshops. Users who publish workshops are called “Hosts” and Users who browse, book and pay for workshops are “Users”. You must register an account to access and use many features of Trainsquare, and must keep your account information up to date. As the provider of Trainsquare, we do not own, control, offer, or manage any workshops. Trainsquare is not a party to the Agreements entered into directly between Hosts and Users.
These Terms also include supplement terms such as the Privacy Policy which specifies the conditions under which we collect and process your personal data and our Payment Terms which govern any payment services provided to Users and Hosts which can be found on Stripe.com.

DEFINITIONS
Host: A person, or organization, that publishes a workshop on Trainsquare and conducts that workshop.
User: A person who registers to have an account on Trainsquare.
Guest: A non-registered person using Trainsquare.
Agreement: When a User books a workshop, they enter an Agreement with the Host regarding the workshop.
Workshop: In-person, hands-on activity led by the Host for the Users.
Cancellation Policy: If a User cancels their booking for a workshop no later than 24 hours before the workshop, they are entitled to a full refund. Otherwise, the User will not receive a refund.
Booking: Signing up to attend a workshop on Trainsquare.
Registration: When you create an account on Trainsquare.
Content: Any written, photographic, video, or other content.
USER TERMS
1. Browse & Book:
1.1 Browse: You can browse workshops by using the search and/or filter features to refine your results.
1.2 Book: A booking entitles you to attend and participate in a workshop. You are responsible for confirming that you, and anyone you book for, meet the minimum age and/or other requirements. Trainsquare is not responsible for any medical or physical conditions, or other circumstances that may impact your ability to participate in or attend the booked workshop. Except when authorized, you may not bring any person to attend a workshop without a prior booking. When you book a workshop, you agree to pay all charges for your booking. When you receive the booking confirmation, an Agreement is formed directly between you and the Host. In addition to these Terms, you will be subject to, and responsible for complying with, all terms of the booking, including but not limited to the Cancellation Policy and any other rules, standards, policies, or requirements identified in the workshop or during checkout that apply to the booking. It is your responsibility to read and understand these rules, standards, policies, and requirements prior to booking. When you book a workshop, an e-mail will be automatically generated by Trainsquare to the Host and User to confirm your workshop booking. You must attend the workshop or risk forfeiting the price paid for the workshop in line with the Cancellation Policy.
2. Cancellation, Refunds:
In general, if a User cancels a booking, the amount refunded is determined by the Cancellation Policy. If the Host cancels a workshop that a User has booked, the User will be eligible for rebooking assistance or a full refund.
HOST TERMS
3. As a Host
Trainsquare offers you the right to publish workshops with our vibrant community of Users – and earn money doing it. It’s easy to create a workshop, and you are in control of how you host – set your price, availability, restrictions, and rules for each workshop.
3.1 Agreement with Users
When you receive a booking confirmation through Trainsquare, you enter into an Agreement directly with the User and are responsible for delivering the workshop under the terms and at the price specified. All rules or standards for Users must: (i) be consistent with these Terms, our Policies, and the information provided in your Workshop, and (ii) be prominently disclosed in your workshop description.
3.2 Independence of Hosts
Your relationship with Trainsquare is that of an independent individual or entity and not an employee, agent, or partner, except that Trainsquare acts as a payment collection agent as described in the Payments Terms. Trainsquare does not direct or control your workshop, and you agree that you have complete discretion whether and when to provide a workshop, and at what price and on what terms.
4. Managing Your Workshop
4.1 Creating and Managing Workshops
Trainsquare provides tools that make it easy for you to create and manage a workshop. The workshop description must include complete and accurate information, including but not limited to price, restrictions, and accessibility limitations. The Host is responsible for keeping workshop information and content, such as photos, up-to-date and accurate at all times.
4.2 Legal Obligations
You are responsible for understanding and complying with any laws, rules, regulations, and agreements with third parties that apply to a workshop.
4.3 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible and liable for your own acts and omissions and are also responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone you allow to participate in providing your workshops. You are responsible for setting your price and establishing rules and requirements for your workshop. You must describe any and all fees and charges in your workshop and may not collect any additional fees or charges outside Trainsquare from users for participating in a workshop except those expressly authorized by us in writing.
4.4 Hosting as a Team
If you work with any other individual to support in providing workshops, all individuals involved in hosting the workshop are responsible and liable as a Host under these Terms.
5. Cancellations and refunds
If a User cancels a booking, their booking fees will be refunded in line with the Cancellation Policy. As a Host, you should not cancel a workshop where one or more users have booked. To cancel a workshop where one or more users have booked, you must e-mail Trainsquare at host@trainsquare.io with the justification. Failure to do so may result in banning you from hosting future workshops unless you pay Trainsquare the payment processing fees, which will be included in the User refund.
GENERAL TERMS
Trainsquare’s Role
We offer you the right to use Trainsquare that enables Users to browse, book, and pay for workshops as well as for Hosts to offer and publish workshops. While we work hard to ensure our Users have great experiences using Trainsquare, we do not and cannot control the conduct of Users and Hosts. However, we will aim but are not obligated to monitor the use of Trainsquare and verify information provided by our Users.
Trainsquare reserves the right to screen, approve or reject potential Hosts if the service they intend to provide does not fit the criteria and conditions of Trainsquare.
Trainsquare reserves the right to remove workshops and/or Hosts that do not comply with the Terms outlined.
6. Types of Workshops
Trainsquare is a web platform exclusively for in-person, hands-on workshops. At Trainsquare, workshops must meet the following criteria:
- In-person, meaning no online workshops.
- Hands-on, meaning everybody gets to participate and interact.
- Guided, meaning there is an instructor to teach and support.
- Group, meaning a minimum of 3 people.
- Single-day activity, meaning there are no long-term commitments.
- Trainsquare is not designed for hosting fitness, educational, or religious workshops.
7. Content
7.1 Providing Content
Parts of Trainsquare enable you to provide text, photos, information, and other content. By providing Content, in whatever form and through whatever means, you grant Trainsquare a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and transferable license to copy, modify, prepare derivative works of, distribute, and publish that Content. If Content includes personal information, our Privacy Policy describes how we use that personal information. You are solely responsible for all Content that you provide and warrant that you either own it or are authorized to grant Trainsquare the rights described in these Terms. You are responsible and liable if any of your Content violates or infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party. Content must comply with the laws which prohibit, among other things, discriminatory, obscene, harassing, deceptive, violent, and illegal content.
7.2 Use of Material on Our Site
We hold the ownership or license of all intellectual property rights present on our site, as well as the materials published on it. These works are protected by copyright laws, and all rights are reserved.
You may share content posted on our site with others. However, you must not modify any of the paper or digital copies you have made, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video, or graphics separately from their accompanying text.
You are required to acknowledge our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site. You may not use any part of our site’s content for commercial purposes unless you have obtained a license from us or our licensors.
If you print, copy, or download any part of our site in violation of these terms of use, your right to use our site will immediately cease. At our option, you must either return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our site, we make no guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our site is up to date.
The links to other sites and resources provided on our site are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as our endorsement of the linked websites or the information you may obtain from them. We do not have any control over the content of those sites or resources.
7.3 User-Generated Content is Not Approved by Us
Other users of this site, including Hosts, may upload information and materials which have not been verified or approved by us. The opinions and views expressed by other users do not necessarily represent our views or values.
As a customer, you acknowledge that any reviews and ratings you provide on the site may be used publicly without prior notice to you. You also agree not to share any personal or contact information that violates the privacy or regulations of other parties or the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates. Please note that any reviews and ratings you provide may not be removable from the site or other websites and search engines.

7.4 Content Policy
By posting content on Trainsquare, you agree to abide by this policy. Content includes any written, photographic, video, or other content, including:
- Writing: Workshop titles and descriptions, profile pages, public and private reviews, feedback, and messages to Trainsquare, Hosts, or Users
- Imagery: Photos and videos, as well as imagery depicted within photos and videos
We reserve the right to remove any content, in whole or part, that violates this Policy, our Terms of Service, or any other reason at our sole discretion. In the event of repeated or severe violations, we may also restrict, suspend, or remove the associated Trainsquare account.
The following content is not allowed:
- Content created solely for the purpose of advertising or other commercial content, including company logos, links, or company names
- Spam, unwanted contact, or content that is shared repeatedly in a disruptive manner
- Content that endorses or promotes illegal or harmful activity, or that is sexually explicit, violent, graphic, threatening, or harassing
- Content that is discriminatory
- Content that attempts to impersonate another person, account, or entity, including a representative of Trainsquare
- Content that is illegal or that violates another person’s or entity’s rights, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights
- Content that includes another person’s private or confidential information, including content that is sufficient to identify a person’s location
7.5 Additional Policy Violations
Workshop titles that violate our policy include:
- Workshop titles that include information irrelevant to the workshop.
- Workshop titles that include symbols or emojis.
- Workshops and profiles that provide fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive information.
7.6 How to Report Content
If you believe content violates this Policy, you can report the content directly by contacting us at contact@trainsquare.io.
8. Fees
Trainsquare may charge fees to Hosts and Users for the right to use the Trainsquare. Trainsquare service fees are non-refundable. Trainsquare reserves the right to change the service fees at any time and will provide Users notice of any fee changes before they become effective. Fee changes will not affect bookings made prior to the effective date of the fee change. If you disagree with a fee change you may stop using Trainsquare services or delete your account.
9. Rules
Act with integrity and treat others with respect
- Do not lie, misrepresent something or someone, or pretend to be someone else.
- Be polite and respectful when you communicate or interact with others.
Do not hack, compromise or impair Trainsquare
- Do not hack, remove, impair, or otherwise attempt to circumvent any security or technological measure used to protect Trainsquare or its Content.
- Do not disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide Trainsquare.
- Do not take any action that could damage or adversely affect the performance or proper functioning of Trainsquare.
Only use Trainsquare as authorized by these Terms
- You may only use another User’s personal information as necessary to facilitate a transaction using Trainsquare as authorized by these Terms.
- Do not use Content unless you have permission from the Content owner, or the use is authorized by us in these Terms or another agreement you have with us.
- Do not require or encourage Users to create an account, leave a review, complete a survey, or otherwise interact with a third-party website, application, or service before, during, or after a booking, unless authorized by Trainsquare.
- Do not engage in any practices that are intended to manipulate our search algorithm.
- Do not use, copy, display, mirror, or frame Trainsquare, any Content, any branding, or any page layout or design without our consent.
Your legal obligations
- Understand and follow the laws that apply to you, including Privacy and Data Protection.
- If you provide us with someone else’s personal information, you must do so in compliance with applicable law, be authorized to do so, and authorize us to process that information under our Privacy Policy.
- Read and follow our Terms, Policies, and Rules.
- Do not use the name, logo, and branding of Trainsquare without permission.
- Do not use or register any domain name, social media handle, trade name, trademark, branding, logo, or other source identifier that may be confused with Trainsquare branding.
- Do not offer workshops that violate the laws or Agreements that apply to you.
- You must be at least 18 years old. By registering as a user or transacting on the site, you confirm and guarantee that you meet this age requirement. If we discover that you are not at least 18 years old, we will restrict your access to the site and terminate your user profile without delay.
- Do not offer or solicit prostitution or participate in or facilitate human trafficking.
9.2 Reporting Violations
If you believe that a User, Host, workshop, or content poses an imminent risk of harm to a person, you should immediately contact local authorities before contacting Trainsquare. In addition, if you believe that a User, Host, workshop, or content has violated our Terms or Policies, you should report your concerns to Trainsquare. You can contact Trainsquare by emailing contact@trainsquare.io.
9.3 Cybersecurity & Termination
We cannot guarantee that our site will always be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for setting up and configuring your own information technology, computer programs, and platform to access our site. We recommend that you use your own virus protection software.
You are strictly prohibited from intentionally introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or any other malicious or technologically harmful material to our site. You are also prohibited from attempting to gain unauthorized access to our site, the server on which our site is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site with a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. Any violation of this provision is a criminal offense under the Cybercrimes Law of the United Arab Emirates. We will report any such violation to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and cooperate with them by disclosing your identity. If such a violation occurs, your right to access our site will be immediately terminated.
10. User Accounts
You must register an account to access and use many features of Trainsquare.
- Registration is only permitted for individuals who are 18 years or older.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.
- You may not register more than one account or transfer your account to someone else.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and may not disclose your credentials to any third party.
- You are responsible and liable for activities conducted through your account and must immediately notify Trainsquare if you suspect that your credentials have been lost, stolen, or your account is otherwise compromised.
- If and as permitted by applicable law, we may, but have no obligation, to (i) ask you to provide identification or other information, (ii) undertake checks designed to help verify your identity or background.
11. Transactions & Payments
11.1 Method of Payment, Card Types accepted and Currency:
To process payments on our site, we rely on a third-party payment gateway. You can make payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit or debit cards in AED (UAE Dirhams). In case a refund is applicable, we use the same mode of payment to transfer the amount back to the card that was used for the original payment.
11.2 Cancellation Policy:
Our site has a standard cancellation policy of 24 hours. We strive to keep you informed about any changes to the Policy if you have already booked a workshop.
If you cancel a booked workshop at least twenty-four (24) hours before the workshop start time, you will receive a full refund. However, if you cancel a booked workshop within twenty-four (24) hours before the workshop start time, you will not be eligible for any refund. If a Host cancels a workshop due to circumstances beyond their control, you will have the option to reschedule the workshop at your convenience or receive a full refund.
12. Liability & Indemnity
12.1 Release of Liability
You acknowledge that workshops offered by Trainsquare or its Hosts may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to burns and falls. By voluntarily participating in these activities, you understand and assume full responsibility for all risks of injury or death that may result from your participation.
You agree to follow all instructions and rules provided by Trainsquare and its Hosts, and to use all equipment and facilities safely and responsibly. You also agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Trainsquare, its owners, employees, Hosts, and any other involved parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you or your property, whether caused by the negligence of Trainsquare or otherwise.
You acknowledge that this waiver of liability is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the emirate or country in which the activity takes place, and that if any portion of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder will continue in full legal force and effect. You further agree that this Agreement is binding on yourself, your heirs, and legal representatives.
If you have any complaints or issues, you can contact us at contact@trainsquare.io, and we will do our best to assist you, but this does not imply that we are liable for any losses you incur.
12.2 Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
All Users and Hosts must comply with the Health and Safety laws of the UAE including but not limited to COVID-19 and any other safety requirements at workshop locations or with the use of equipment.
Hosts are required to conduct a safety briefing before operation of any equipment at their workshop.
Trainsquare is not liable nor responsible for any failure to comply. Anyone who repeatedly violates these guidelines may face other consequences, including account suspension or removal from Trainsquare.
12.3 Taxes
Prices are always displayed inclusive of tax, and each Host is responsible to comply with the UAE VAT laws and fulfill their tax obligations.
12.4 Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Abu Dhabi and the applicable Federal Laws of the UAE. The Parties shall attempt in good faith to amicably settle any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with the conclusion, validity, effect, interpretation, performance, termination, and / or any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with this Agreement which would constitute a “Dispute”.
If the dispute is not settled amicably within sixty (60) days from the date the dispute is first notified in writing to the other party, such dispute shall be referred by any Party for resolution by the courts of Abu Dhabi, who shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any action or proceeding and to resolve any disputes which may arise out of or in relation to the Agreement.
